Travellers’ Blessing

May all you believe in keep watch on your journey
May all that you do keep you safe on the trail
The table is set with sweet wine for the drinking
The bed is turned down in the candlight pale

Take with you all that you’ll need for the voyage
The path can be cold and alonesome at times
Soon you will be riding up to our doorstep
In your dark eyes welcome torchlight will shine

Your friends are now gathered together and waiting
Waiting for you to walk into the hall
Waiting to hear your voice raised up in singing
Can you not hear our low beckoning call?

May all you believe in keep watch on your journey
May all that you do keep you safe on the trail
The table is set with sweet wine for the drinking
The bed is turned down in the candlight pale
